What Is the Signature Scalp & Facial Spa?
This is the longest of three head-spa depths in the current collection. It adds a sensory opening, Tibetan singing bowls, scalp mask, Indian head massage and facial ritual to the cleansing, conditioning, water and drying foundation.
House of Pridi is the service direction named on the current menu. The ritual is offered at the Sukhumvit 71 Tea House rather than across every branch.
Step 1 — Scalp, Hair and Comfort Consultation
Share scalp sensitivity, itch, recent colour or chemical services, extensions, braids, hair texture, product allergies, preferred pressure and desired blow-dry finish.
A spa consultation adapts cosmetic care; it does not diagnose hair loss or a scalp disorder. Persistent shedding, pain, wounds or active inflammation need medical assessment.
Step 2 — A Quiet Sensory Opening
The signature begins by slowing the pace before water and products are introduced. Tibetan singing bowls form part of the published House of Pridi sequence.
Their role here is sensory and atmospheric. The sound should not be described as diagnosing energy imbalance or treating disease.
Step 3 — Dry Scalp Preparation
The therapist sections the hair and uses controlled fingertip contact around the hairline, temples, crown, sides and occipital base.
The goal is methodical access and comfort, not scratching or forceful friction. Tight extensions, a tender scalp or recent procedure may require lighter work.
Step 4 — Double Wash With Water
Regular shampoo and water remove oil, dead skin cells and accumulated styling product in a way dry shampoo cannot. The first wash loosens residue; the second refines cleansing.
Water temperature and shampoo choice should respect hair texture, scalp sensitivity and recent colour. More foam does not prove a cleaner result.
Step 5 — The Dedicated Scalp-Mask Stage

Does Scalp Massage Grow Hair?
One small study followed nine healthy men using a scalp-massage device for four minutes daily over 24 weeks. It reported increased hair thickness, but no significant increase in hair number or growth rate.
The study is too small and specific to prove that a spa head massage treats hair loss. Hair shedding has many causes, and diagnosis should not be delayed for a cosmetic ritual.
When to See a Dermatologist First
Seek medical assessment for sudden or patchy hair loss, intense itching, burning, tenderness, scaly bald patches, sores, pus, wounds or a persistent severe dandruff problem.
